Camping Lilydale Falls

The Lilydale Falls camping area, outside the town of Launceston in Northern Tasmania, is a small, but very attractive campsite located at Lilydale, some 25 kilometres from Launceston, on the B81 Highway. The Lilydale Falls themselves, which are a significant tourist attraction, are located just a short walk from the campground. There is a maximum 2-night stay at the Lilydale Falls Reserve Campground, with the camping area suitable for tents, small caravans, campervans, and camper trailers. Signposted access to the Lilydale Falls campground is located app. 2.5 kilometres north of the small town of Lilydale on the B1 highway. This reserve is a popular picnic and day-use area. A relatively short and easy walk will take you to two sets of waterfalls, one above the other which, although small are picturesque. The Lilydale Falls campground has decent amenities with are kept very clean and well-maintained and include fireplaces, toilets, water, and a picnic table. A charge is made for showers – all inquiries are to be made to the local shop in main road Lilydale. We recommend camping at Lilydale Falls.
