Camping Top Camp Mt William

Campground Top Camp Mt William National Park, North East tip of Tasmania, close Gladstone, Anson’s Bay, Musselroe Bay and Eddystone Point Lighthouse. See also: Camping Mt William National Park. This campsite is located in a spectacular setting, next to the ocean and that features pure white sandy and crystal clear blue waters. Please note, however, it gets very windy at camping Top Camp and camping in tents is not recommended. The campground is suitable to all other forms of camping, but really big rigs should take a lot of care on the narrow gravel road that leads from Musselroe Bay to the campground, as it is full of potholes and gets very muddy after heavy rains. You must have a current Tasmanian National Parks & Wildlife Pass to camp at Top Camp, and camping fees also apply – $13 per night for 2 adults, $50 for 7 nights. A camper self-registration system applies, and the area is patrolled by Parks rangers. All sites are unpowered, and it isn’t possible to book – all camping is on a first come, first served basis.
