Lake Echo Camping Video

Camping Lake Echo offers true Australian bush camping on the shores of the expansive Lake Echo, central highlands Tasmania. Informal lakeshore camping is permitted at Lake Echo with many options to choose from, and some requiring a 4WD for access. Lake Echo is primarily used by fishermen, and it should be noted that weather conditions can be very harsh during cooler months, and the narrow, rough, dirt roads hard to access following heavy rain or snow. There is no cost to camp at Lake Echo, and there are no facilities – campers must be 100% self-sufficient.
