Camping Deep Creek Video

Deep Creek Campground, Mt William National Park, far northeast tip of Tasmania spectacular campground, close to Eddystone Park Lighthouse. The facilities at Deep Creek camping area are quite basic but OK – there are basic pit toilets, bore water (not for drinking), picnic tables, and little else. The site is suitable for all forms of camping, but it does get very windy so be well prepared if camping in a tent. National Park entry fees apply, and there are also charges to camp – cost is app. $13 per night for 2 persons, plus $5 for each additional adult. Two adults can camp at Deep Creek campground for $50 for 7 nights. At this location, you can go beach or rock fishing, take long walks un-spoilt, spectacular beaches, spot wildlife, and go bird watching. Off-road vehicles are strictly prohibited. A Parks ranger patrols the area and checks that camping fees have been paid (a camper self-registration system applies). The Ranger also checks for that visitors have a valid park and wildlife pass.
